Cllr Roger Mazillius – Chairman of Isle of Wight Council – is inviting Islanders to two events with the aim of raising money for his official charities.
On Saturday 17 November, a Coffee Morning is being held between 1000 – 1300 at Dinosaur Isle Museum on Culver Parade in Sandown. The museum itself will be opening its doors for free and anyone coming along can look round the exhibition. There will be refreshments on sale as well as a raffle and tombola.
On Sunday 2 December, Cllr Mazillius will host an Antiques Fair at Northwood House in Cowes between 1030 – 1530. Admission to the event is £1.50 and children go free. Experts from Shanklin Auction Rooms will be at the event, and for a very small charge will give valuations on items members of the public bring in.
Both events are in support of the Chairman’s official charities and are open to anyone to attend. The charities are the MacMillan Nurses at the Earl Mountbatten Hospice in Newport, and the Island Youth Water Activities Centre (IYWAC) in Cowes.
