The Cowes Floating Bridge has returned to service on between Cowes and East Cowes.
The Floating Bridge has been out of service for the last six weeks as it underwent the five-year MCA inspection.
At the beginning of the month the council explained that the Bridge would be back in service earlier than planned, however, when it returned to the Island on 4th April, its newly painted surfaces got scratched and at least two of its windows were shattered.
