Another chance for the public to tour the RNLI’s lifeboat station at Cowes, and view the Atlantic 85 lifeboat ‘Sheena Louise’, is being given on the morning of Spring Bank Holiday Monday.
The station, opened by Her Majesty the Queen last July, will be welcoming all-comers for two hours, from 10am to 12 noon.
Members of the station will be on hand to explain how the station plays its part in the charity’s proud historic role in saving lives at sea, and there will be plenty of activities, with a life-saving theme, for children.
