Cowes students shine in debut performance of Matilda Jr. the Musical

Cowes Enterprise College, part of Ormiston Academies Trust, has debuted its first musical production with Matilda Jr. the Musical.

Following months of dedication and hard work, talented Cowes Enterprise College students and staff delivered three exceptional performances, impressing audiences with their artistic ability, skill, and set design.

The journey to staging Matilda the Musical involved extensive collaboration across various departments in the academy, from set design and costume creation to lighting and sound where students had the chance to use their creative talents and interests to produce a musical extravaganza.

Sold-out performances
Passionate students immersed themselves in their roles, embodying the well-loved characters and delivering performances that impressed audiences of all ages.

The musical’s success was underscored by sold-out performances and enthusiastic feedback from attendees which not only celebrated the talents of Cowes Enterprise College’s students but also reinforced the academy’s commitment to providing enriching opportunities in the arts.

Cowes Enterprise College is already looking forward to its Christmas pantomime production in the autumn term and welcomes the whole community to attend future events and productions.
