Could you help deliver the new cultural strategy for the Isle of Wight?
The Island Collection is looking for a charismatic and experienced manager and fundraiser to lead the Island of Culture and deliver our key objectives as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO).
The Island Collection’s successful NPO application is designed to establish community based creative hubs across the Isle of Wight. They will support cross-curricular learning and career pathways for Island Schools.
Nurture a creative network
Additionally the plan will nurture a creative network for talent in arts, heritage, culture and environment, extending impact of the Isle of Wight to new audiences around the world.
We need to bring about positive change for the growing and vibrant cultural sector on the Isle of Wight and this role is crucial. The Executive Director will see through the strategy and deliver a new programme for Island of Culture 2025, celebrating what makes the Isle of Wight such a special place.
Working closely with key stakeholders
This is a great role that will work closely with key stakeholders including Isle of Wight Council and the Island’s other NPO organisations, supporting the Island’s arts, culture, heritage sector and UNESCO Biosphere status.
The Island is investing in the future of the Isle of Wight by nurturing creative talent, connecting and supporting creative industries, and protecting the mental wellbeing of young people.
