A woman has been charged in relation to a fatal collision just outside Whitwell in 2020.
The 42-year-old of Chatfield Lane, Niton appeared at Isle of Wight Magistrates Court today accused of causing death by careless driving.
She will next appear at Isle of Wight Crown Court on 6th June.
Fatal collision
The collision took place on the evening of 1st July 2020 at the junction of Southford Lane and Newport Road and involved a motorcycle and a Volkswagen Transporter.
The motorcyclist, 62-year-old Gordon John Endler of Merstone Lane, Arreton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger of the motorcycle suffered life-threatening injuries.
