On Wednesday 18th September, Wightlink-LCM Systems Cycle Race Team riders Pete Moore and Kev Foster (pictured) travelled to Portsmouth for the final round of the Omega Circuits.
Both Moore and Foster made solid starts and despite a strong westerly wind, took it in turns to chase down the numerous attacks in an attempt to keep the field together.
Thirty minutes of hard work eventually took its toll and nine riders managed to break away from the field and gained a lap advantage.
Coming into the final laps the pace increased and both Wightlink-LCM Systems riders finished safely in the middle of the bunch.
