On Tuesday last week, 26 people took part in the 5k Club scratch race. First home was Tom Blackwell in 19.52, second was Rod Parker in 21.32 and third was Men’s Captain Pete Still in 21.44.
First lady was Mandy Womack in 21.59, second was Sarah Kavanagh in 23.25 and third was Emily Wildon in 24.03.
Four Harriers travelled to Butser Hill Fell Run on Sunday which was a 4.5 mile course with an ascent of 889 feet. First home was Tom Blackwell, 38.23 – 21st overall. Next home was Sarah Kavanagh 45.20 – 5th lady, next Amanda Treadgold 45.39 – 6th lady, followed by Phillippa Daley din50.33.
Whilst on holiday Ken Beak ran in the Cumberland Ale 10 mile race on the 8th September finishing in 50th place out of 70 runners in a time of 1.24.37.
