Leader of the Isle of Wight Conservatives and ward councillor for Chale, Niton and Whitwell, Cllr Dave Stewart, has put forward a motion for discussion at Wednesday’s Full Council meeting.
He’s seeking approval for a motion that would ensure priority is given to agenda items that are only of “direct importance to the people of the Isle of Wight”.
His motion reads,
This motion calls on council officers, the council leader and the ruling group to ensure that priority is given at full council meetings for discussion and debate of issues of direct importance to the people of the Isle of Wight.
Cllr Stewart’s motion is the last item on the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting.
