Leader of the Isle of Wight Council, David Pugh will getting his leg up later today as he climbs the new Goodleaf Tree in Ryde.
4pm is the time and Appley Park is the location as David will attempt to scale the heights of the beautiful oak tree.
Readers will remember that the Isle of Wight Council have kindly agreed Goodleaf can make use of this tree in Appley Park from this Sunday until the end of August.
This is great news for Islanders, visitors and of course the guys at Goodleaf, over the summer.
Goodleaf will be offering one hour tree climbing sessions every Sunday over the summer for just £10 and Cllr David Pugh makes the inaugural climb today to launch the service.
Competition time!
Thanks to everyone who entered the ticket competition. The winning photo will be announced later today on VB.
