We’ve just heard from the Dee Caffari team that unfortunately the anticipated departure of their attempt to set the Round Britain sailing record has had to be postponed again.
The departure won’t happen over the weekend and it’s highly unlikely that it will happen on Monday.
When pursuing a record, it’s obviously important to have the weather conditions correct.
Our thoughts go out Dee and her team, it must be very frustrating being ready, but not able to go.
We’ll bring you more when we hear it.
