A Citroen Saxo failed to stop for police in Newport just after 10pm on Saturday (April 9), resulting in a police pursuit.
The vehicle was driven at speed along Medina Way, Hunnyhill, through the Dodnor Industrial Estate, St Marys Hospital grounds then onto Horsebridge Hill, Newport Road into Cowes before stopping at Marks Corner on Noke Common.
The occupants ran from the vehicle and entered Parkhurst Forest.
Police would like anyone to come forward who witnessed this incident.
Three men have been arrested and bailed until May 25.
