‘Disabled People Against Cuts’ Campaign Group Starts On The Wight

Nancy Farrell has been in touch with details of a new campaign group for disabled people on the Isle of Wight. She tells us more in her own words. Ed

Wheelchair symbol:I am trying to create a branch on the Island for the National peaceful campaign group “Disabled People Against Cuts”.

We know services for disabled people are being cut mercilessly on the Island and want to do something about it in the form of peaceful protests and letter writing campaigns to those who make the decisions.

We will also offer help to people whose benefits have been cut unfairly and need to make an appeal.
