Discover fourteen local artists at the Cowes and Gurnard Art Exhibition

This weekend marks the beginning of the Cowes and Gurnard Open Art Exhibition, showcasing the talents of fourteen local artists.

The exhibition will take place over two weekends in July, starting on Friday (12th) at Gurnard Village Hall.

Local talent on display
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists and view their work in person.

The first weekend, from 12th to 14th of July, will feature works by Tony Westmore, Harriet Hue, Chris Gillies, Birgit Ackroyd, Carly Groves, and Loren Thorn at Gurnard Village Hall.

Elise Barnard’s art will be displayed at Seabrook Villa.

Continuing the celebration of art
The second weekend, from 19th to 21st of July, will also be held at Gurnard Village Hall.

This weekend will highlight the talents of Ian Wright, Valerie Cranwell, Gillian Nye, Anya Stickland, Patsy Carter, Anne Toase, and Gillian Mountford.

Birgit Ackroyd’s studio will be open to the public, offering another venue to explore her artwork.

Venues and accessibility
Elise Barnard’s work will continue to be exhibited at Seabrook Villa throughout both weekends.

Each venue promises to provide a unique artistic experience, with refreshments available for all visitors.

Free entry and warm welcome
Entry to the exhibition is free, encouraging everyone to come and enjoy the diverse range of art on display.
