Update 17.30: Tilly has been found. See message at bottom.
VB reader, Emma Chamberlain, has been in touch hoping that readers may be able to help with appeal.
Her brother’s little Shihtzu Dog, Tilly, went missing from the Rookley area last night.
Apparently she was frightened by fireworks going off and the family are very worried.
Emma asks if readers can keep a look out for Tilly and call 07703 392800.
NB: This isn’t Tilly in the photo, in the absence of a pic, we’ve used the one above to give you an idea of what Shih tzus look like.
Update 17.30:
Dear lovely people at VentnorBlog,
TILLY DOG IS FOUND!!!! Thanks so much for everyone who helped with the search for her. I have just picked her up from the RSPCA. She was handed in by a lovely local farmer, Mr Wickham from Berwick Cottages. She is soooooo pleased to be home and really needs a bath now lol xxxx sooooooo happy!!
Our 10 year old daughter who owns Tilly has been devastated for the past 24 hours……she ran out of the door when someone opened it to let the cat in ( who had also been scared by the fireworks!!) and just bolted!
Thanks again to everyone and to VentnorBlog for posting this. Big thanks to the RSPCA and of course Mr Wickham who found her!
Kind regards
The Attrill/Tickle family
