Isle of Wight Fire and rescue services rescued a dog from a house fire today in Wootton.
Two pumps were initially called to the domestic fire on Sloop Lane, Wootton.
Once arrived firefighters realised that another two were needed.
The fire is still ongoing, but no residents or animals are in danger.
The incident has affected traffic through Wootton which is now slow-moving.
