This Sunday (14th Sept) Islanders and visitors are invited to a fundraising event being held at Cowes Golf Club.
Organised by Cowes Golf Club with the help of Linda Bassett, entry is free, with entertainment from 4pm onwards.
From 4pm you can enjoy Marie on Sax, from 4.30pm there’ll be an Irish dance display.
At 5pm the Moonshine Border Morris team put on a display and between 5.30pm and 6.30pm there’ll be live music from 2ndTA playing blues/jazz/folk.
From 6.45pm to 7pm there’ll be music from Rewired.
The sponsored firewalk
At 7pm there’ll be a sponsored firewalk, as Islanders take the plunge and walk across hot embers. This will be followed by more music from Rewired.

Food, drink and more
There’ll be food and refreshments along with various stalls.
The event kicks off at 3pm, Sunday 14th September at Cowes Golf Club, Crossfield Ave, Cowes PO31 8HN.
