Parents / Guardians of children in current Year 6 at Primary School are reminded to complete the application for their child to transfer to Secondary School in September 2023, 75 per cent have already submitted applications.
Closing date
The closing date to submit the application for a Secondary School place for September 2023 is Midnight on Monday 31 October 2022 via the tab ‘Secondary School Sept 2023’ on the Isle of Wight Council Webpage.
Supplementary Information Form
If applying for a place at Christ the King College or The Island Free School parents / guardians will also need to complete the Supplementary Information Form and return the form direct to the relevant school.
Choose preferences wisely
We recommend considering using all the preferences available when making an application.
If unsuccessful in gaining a place at the preferred school(s), parents / guardians will be allocated a place at the nearest school with space, which could be some distance away.
It is important therefore to choose preferences wisely. Please note that naming the same school more than once will not increase chances of being offered a place at that school.
