The Isle of Wight council have confirmed that no critical services have been adversely affected by the problems with fuel on the Isle of Wight over the last week.
They say that although demand is still higher in the South than the North of the country, on the Island it is down on last week’s long queues and closures due to panic buying.
No shortage of fuel
The regular supply of fuel to the Island has continued and although there are a couple of forecourts currently closed, assuming drivers are sensible in only filling up what they need, there should be enough for everyone needing fuel this week.
