Earth Day: Watch underwater footage of marine wildlife in the seagrass meadows off the Isle of Wight

Today, 22nd April, is World Earth Day, a time to celebrate the planet we live on and think about what we can do to help protect its, and therefore our, future.

As we celebrate Earth Day, our thanks to Theo Vickers, marine wildlife photographer, for sharing this beautiful footage shot in the seagrass meadows off the Isle of Wight of Polycera sea slugs spawning and reproducing.

Click play on the video in the tweet to see the footage.

You can see more of Theo’s amazing underwater footage and photography on his Website.

Around the globe people who care about the environment are helping to raise awareness of what each and everyone of us can do, including encouraging Governments to take steps. You may well have heard the UK Government announced this week they plan to reduce CO2 emissions by 78% by 2035.
