Results from more than 3,000 questionnaires which formed part of an extensive Isle of Wight Council consultation on three options for the reorganisation of Island schools, will be published on 10 March.
The findings will be uploaded onto the council’s website, after 18.30.
During the consultation period between 14 January and 22 February, the questionnaire was available both online and in the ‘Which Way Forward for Island Education’ consultation booklet. The booklet was sent to all parents, teaching staff, parish and town councils, and governing bodies.
They were also available in council Help Centres, libraries, and other locations across the Island. The results will also summarise the findings from ten focus group discussions with young people of different ages across the Island.
The findings will help inform councillors when they consider their vote on which of the three options for school reorganisation will be taken forward on 19 March.
Due to the large number of visitors expected on the website in a short time period, some content may take longer than expected to load. However extra website capacity has been added to alleviate any potential problems.
