Hampshire police have confirmed to OnTheWight today they are investigating allegations surrounding former Prime Minister, Sir Edward (Ted) Heath.
Although Edward Heath’s name connected to claims of child sexual abuse has only become public in the last couple of days, Exaro News, revealed on Tuesday that Scotland Yard have been investigating the former Prime Minister for ten months.
Five police forces investigating
Hampshire are the fifth police force to confirm they are investigating allegations. They join Wiltshire, London, Jersey and Kent, but declined to comment further on what the allegations were.
