Following yesterday’s Flood Alert by the Environment Agency, they have today issued a repeated Flood Alert for the Isle of Wight coast.
They predict “a reasonably high spring tide” at 11.48am today (Wednesday).
They say,
Water levels will be high around Cowes and some spray overtopping of sea defences will occur.
No update on where to get sandbags from has been issued yet by Island Roads, but yesterday’s details should still be valid (we’ll update if there are any changes).
