Anyone concerned with the situation in in Gaza may be interested in attending this talk on Saturday (19th). Ed
Brian Dooley from Amnesty International was in Gaza during the Israeli bombardment in January and co-authored Amnesty’s report on the three week attack.
Gaza is slightly smaller than the IOW, but with 10 times the density of population. Almost a third of the total number of people killed during the US funded attack were in school at the time.
This fascinating talk, full of valuable insights, will raise funds for the IOW Convoy to Gaza, which will break the siege of Gaza and deliver aid on the 27th December – the anniversary of the attack.
There will be slides and refreshments.
This is expected to be busy, so booking recommended, call 872997.
