A short while ago OnTheWight ran an impromptu competition – during National Chip Week – to ask readers which chip shop they thought produced the best chips on the Isle of Wight.
We had over 20 nominations that were then put to the vote.
Head to Pan for the best chips
As voted for by the readers of OnTheWight, the winner – with a considerable majority of the vote – was Ozze’s in Pan.
The runners up were the Jolly Fryer Chip van, which moves around the Island (2nd), Corries Cabin in Cowes (3rd), Rainbow Fish Bar in Freshwater (4th) and Terry’s in Wootton (5th).
If you have a sudden craving for chips why not try out one (or all) of the top five.
