This coming weekend see the 20th anniversary of the Island Planetarium and to celebrate there are a number of special events taking place from Friday 3rd to Monday 6th May.
As well as daily shows of We Are Aliens, Cell! Cell! Cell! and Welcome to the Universe, you’ll also be able to safely view solar flares from the Sun using their solar telescope.
There’ll be workshops and face painting as well as live virtual tours of the night sky. Presented by one of their astronomers, using the Planetarium Astrodome, you’ll be taken on a tour around the sky tonight.
