We went along to the Winter Gardens when the auditions for tonight’s circus show were being held.
We did a quick interview with the leader of the fire troupe to get an understanding of what they get up to.
(Update: As it turned out, this troupe didn’t perform last night, Ryde Extreme Performers did instead)
Based in West Cowes, with most of the performers coming from Ryde, they carry out all of the major circus fire skills, such as fire breathing, fire staff, fire diablo – ie if it burns, they’ll use it!
