Last night a fire was called in to the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service at 18:49.
The fire, at Southern Water treatment works on East Yar Road, was in a single storey out-building on the same industrial estate as the Sandown fire station.
Besides the Sandown fire engine, tenders from Newport and Shanklin joined them.
It was reported out by 20:45.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
