We were contacted just now by Karen Joy Cunningham who told us that her daughter was returning to Cowes on a Red Jet this evening when an incident occurred.
On docking, it appears that the crew were unable to open the door and there was a fire on the craft.
We understand from Karen that a member of the public, who was waiting to get on, put the fire out.
All passengers are now safe and off the craft.
We heard from Karen that the crew gave no official explanation to the passengers.
