The Cowes/East Cowes floating bridge will be out of service from 8.30am on Tuesday 29 March 2016, for its annual inspection. It is expected that the service will resume on Monday 4 April. Vehicles will be diverted via Newport.
A foot passenger shuttle will be in operation. The 40 pence return fee will continue to apply for foot passengers using the shuttle service.
The annual inspection is essential to ensuring that the floating bridge meets its health and safety obligations.
