The Floating Bridge is hoping to be back in service this weekend.
As regular users of the vital link between Cowes and East Cowes will know, it has been out of service since 19th March whilst undergoing an annual inspection by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in Southampton.
Allan Marsh from the suitably placed Al’s Pizza Oven (adjacent to the landing point on East Cowes) managed to capture a time lapse video of the floating bridge being taken away a couple of weeks ago and towed back into dock this week.
