Avoid contact with, walking or driving through flood water. Consider activating any property flood protection products you may have.
‘Be prepared’ flood alerts were issued for the following areas:
- Lukely Brook (2.49am)
- Western Yar (3.31am)

Not much detail was provided in the alerts, which were automated due to industrial action, but they were triggered based on rising river or tidal levels.
If you are on the roads this morning take extra care driving or cycling through large puddles.
