Due to the forthcoming Royal wedding and bank holidays this month and in May, there will be some disruption to refuse collections for a two week period.
Weekend collections
To help minimise the disruption, waste due to be collected on Friday 22 April will be picked up on Saturday 23 April, the collection on Monday 25 April will instead be picked up on Saturday 30 April, waste collected on Friday 29 April will be picked up on Friday 6 May and waste due to be picked up on Monday 2 May will be collected on Monday 9 May.
Although this means these households will have one collection for either a 12 day or 14 day period, it will mean tens of thousands of households across the Isle of Wight will not have their waste collection dates disrupted.
