East Cowes Town Council is delighted to announce two free festive events taking place at East Cowes Town Hall on Saturday 12th December 2026, bringing Christmas cheer to families, children and adults alike.
Santa’s sleigh and soft play
The celebrations will begin with Christmas Fun for the Children from 3pm to 5pm, offering a magical afternoon packed with festive activities and entertainment.
Children will have the opportunity to enjoy a Farmyard Activity Soft Play, Circus Activity Play and Slide, festive music and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus himself. The centrepiece of the event will be the spectacular Giant Santa Sleigh, where children can meet Santa and receive a special gift.
The event is completely free to attend and aims to provide local families with an enjoyable afternoon of festive fun during the Christmas season.
Live music for adults
As the evening draws in, the festivities will continue with the Adults’ Christmas Evening from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, offering residents a chance to relax, socialise and celebrate the season with friends and neighbours.
The evening will feature live music performances from local bands Dynamite Dayz and Abandon, creating a fantastic atmosphere for what promises to be a memorable community event. Guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments and enjoy a free night of live entertainment.
Reardon: A time for bringing communities together
Councillor Tracy Reardon, Mayor of East Cowes, said,
“Christmas is a time for bringing communities together, and we are delighted to be offering not one but two free events for residents to enjoy.
