The Bus Users’ Group was originally told that holders of Southern Vectis Freedom & Rover tickets would be charged £1 to travel on Wightbus services from September and expressed its disappointment at this decision.
We’ve been advised that, although no agreement has been reached between Southern Vectis and the IW Council, Wightbus have decided not to introduce the proposed charge and that Freedom & Rover ticket holders will continue to enjoy free travel on Wightbus services.
In the Ventnor area, services 16 (Rail Link) and 31 are operated by Wightbus.
