Readers will remember the photos of how heavy rain and strong winds impacted Shanklin and Cowes published last week.
Freshwater was hit by the high tides and stormy weather too, as illustrated in these photos sent in by Anna Mustchin of The Causeway and Freshwater Bay.

Martin Perry has sent over two shots of Freshwater Bay, one showing choppy waters the other an amazing shot of this morning’s sunrise.
Meanwhile over in Portsmouth Kimmi Piggott spotted some apocalyptic Mammatus clouds.
