Last month the Isle of Wight lost a much-loved Islander, who made all those who came into contact with him smile.
Following a road traffic incident in Brading on 7th September, Lee sadly died from his serious injuries the following morning.
Saying farewell
Later this week, Lee’s family and friends will be saying farewell during a service at All Saints Church in Ryde (12pm on Thursday).
Anyone who knew Lee and wants to attend will be more than welcome.
Very close friend of Lee’s, Rick Stanbridge says,
“Dress code is your choice, but traditional with a splash of colour would be good. The wake will be at The Crown in Ryde straight after.
“Everyone is welcome to send off a fine fellow.
“It’s open to all who knew and loved Lee. Strength in numbers. Let’s do this with the respect and dignity it deserves.”
Supporting each other
Rick finished by saying,
“A lot of people are out there grieving through these tragic circumstances and we all need each other through these hard times.”
Our thoughts are with all of Lee’s family and friends. We’ll be raising a glass to this very special person on Thursday.
