Always keen to support worthy causes, we thought our readers would like to hear about this very brave feat being carried out for charity next month. Ed
Jenna Fidler, a member of care staff at St. Catherine’s School will be carrying out a sky dive with the Red Devils on the 26th May 2009.
She is hoping not only to raise money but also to raise awareness of the school for prospective parents and future sponsorship, but also to find affiliates and support for the St. Catherine’s Charity.
The money raised will go towards supporting the children at St. Catherine’s and contribute funding for some much needed new buildings.
Jenna said ”As a school we absolutely believe all children and young people with communication impairments should fulfill their potential in life. Our holistic approach to each and every child – through our services, staff, volunteers and supporters – assures this vision will be met. Any donations are much appreciated and would go a long way to helping us carry on our work and continue to help our children to have a voice for now and the future.”
Jenna aims to raise a minimum of £1000 and is desperate for your donations to make the jump a success.
Please give generously (as Jenna is afraid of heights and wants to make it worth her while!).
Making a donation is easy, just pop over to her secure Just Giving page.
