Fantastic news that owners of The Gaiety have decided to keep the amusement arcade open over the summer afterall.
We hear that the site is still up for sale, but great to see the boards off the front and it back in action.
We spent an active couple of hours down there yesterday, getting some ten pin bowling practice in and it certainly felt good getting back on the old air hockey table.
Please do what you can to help support keeping this venue open over the summer – it’ll be far better to have the doors open and this facility available for holiday makers than for them to see it boarded up and looking unloved.
It’ll be open weekends 10-5pm and weekdays 11-5pm.
