For those who weren’t able to make the trip to Brighton to say goodbye to Evelyn Knowles, a special gathering will take place on the Island next month.
A lover of music, literature and her community, Evelyn sadly passed away in January this year.
All who knew Evelyn are welcome to attend laying of the ashes at Springwood Cemetery in Newchurch, followed by tea and cake at the Ventnor Exchange.

Where and when
Ashes will be laid at Springwood Cemetery, Newchurch, Sandown PO36 0JX on Friday 14th April 2023 at 10.30am.
Gather in Springwood car park at 10.15am.
This will be followed by tea and cake at the Ventnor Exchange (until 1pm), 11 Church Street, Ventnor PO38 1SW.
