The ever-enthusiastic team behind the 12 month £50,000 fundraising campaign for Ventnor Skate Park are at it again.
The last Big Art Auction was pretty successful and raised raised over £2,500 for the campaign, so another has been organised for 7th November.
If you’re an artist why not consider donating a piece of work to the campaign?
Great local project
The project is aiming to raise enough cash to build a concrete skate park in Ventnor, replacing the current plywood one which needs to be constantly repaired due to wear and tear (and the occasional vandalism).
The skate park is well-used and a great asset for all those (young and older) who live in the world of skateboarding.
Be part of something special
Zoe Thompson, one of those driving the campaign said,
“One of the highest bids was made on a painting by a local lady who simply does it as a hobby for friends and family, it was a joy to tell her that one of her paintings had raised £150.”
The official opening will take place once again at Ventnor Exchange, on Saturday 7th November.
