Despite the damp start to Saturday morning over 100 people, a mixture of babies, toddlers and adults, made their way to Appley Park for the 3rd Giant Toddle.
Children dressed in a mixture of fancy dress and ponchos were greeted by childrens characters before setting off on their mile walk around the Park to the finishing line at the Appley Cafe.
Tyler Roper was first across the finishing line after deciding to run the entire course, much to his mum’s delight who was left running behind him with his scooter and bag.
Once again the day proved to be a huge success and we would like to thank the families from all over the island who supported our event.
Early figures are showing that we will beat the £1000 sponsorship that we raised last year.
