Gareth Icke
After years of playing in punk rock bands, Island-born Gareth went solo. His debut album ‘It gets worse at night’ was released in 2009 and championed by such stations as BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 music.

With the imminent release of his second album, Gareth’s performance at Acoustic Originals is his first since having major surgery on a double broken leg!

Stickman
Featuring the voices and guitar of Joy and Steve Jolliffe, veteran songwriters influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan and the Incredible String Band, Stickman performs an impressive repertoire of evocative, folk inspired songs with gentle confidence and appeal.

Gweido
Formed in 2007, Gweido emerged onto the Island scene with an edgy sound and gritty vocals, delivering live shows full of energy and passion.

Their Acoustic Originals debut sees them performing a stripped-down, acoustic set of their distinctive music. These guys love what they do, and so do we.

Fine Lines
Developed from a solo project by talented singer-songwriter Gareth Ashworth, Fine Lines is a three-piece playing folk/ alternative/ rock music with intricate rhythms, ambient lead guitar lines, and captivating melodies.

With strong influences from very different genres Fine Lines are quickly gaining a reputation for being a ‘must see’ live act.

Depresstival
Mista Mushroom pianist Depresstival is a prolific song-writer and gifted multi-instrumentalist and performs with a compelling mix of intelligence, breath-taking vocals and in-your-face honesty.

Anti-folk? ‘Everything is dead; however, the thing that’s most dead of all is Genre.’

Doors and bar open at 7pm and performances begin from 8pm – oh, and it’s absolutely FREE to get in. At last, a reason to love Mondays!
