News reaches us that work to renovate the Ventnor Skate Park is going well.
As the photos below pay testament to, several volunteers battled on throughout the bad weather last month.
Work on the sea wall, the grind wall and anti spray fence now all ensure that those using the ramps are protected from the splash from the sea, which, as you can see below, the workers experienced first hand.
The group are currently awaiting news of a funding bid which they hope will enable the resurfacing of the ramps in July.
Call for volunteers
John Cattle and John Baldry have worked tirelessly on the renovation of the skate park for the last year or so and now calling on users or parents of users of the park to get involved and volunteer their time in July to help resurface the ramps.
If you can spare a few hours here and there, get in touch with John by emailing him on johncattle23 (at) hotmail.co.uk
