This coming weekend sees the arrival of the Boojum and Snark Stoutmas Beer Menu.
Between Friday 17th and Sunday 19th December, Sandown’s nano-brewery and bar will celebrating the darkest beers for the darkest nights.
To kick off they are featuring three beers brewed in the bay as well as another brewed by Vibrant Forest.
The range of stouts on offer includes:
- Barrister’s Brew (5.3%) is a punchy espresso stout with spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Brewed by Boojum&Snark.
- Raven Holiday (5.8%) is a liquorice stout full of aniseedy and chocolate flavours with a satisfying bitter finish. Named after Winifred Raven Holiday, a musician and suffragette, daughter of artist Henry Holiday who illustrated Lewis Carroll’s The Hunting of the Snark. Brewed by Boojum&Snark.
- The Vanishing (6.5%) is a silky smooth cherry porter, low on bitterness with rounded fruity mouthfeel, cask style porter. Brewed by Boojum&Snark.
- Bourbon October (9%) is a barrel-aged Russian imperial stout. Creamy, woody, vanilla and bourbon, best enjoyed in a third. Brewed by Vibrant Forest.
Staying safe
Tracy at Boojums says,
“We are being careful with numbers. Mask-wearing when not at your table is encouraged. Staff, if applicable will carry out a lateral flow test before their shift, and furniture and tables are sanitised daily.”
