Next Tuesday sees the return of the Isle of Wight Film Festival to Ventnor.
Sitting alongside the Ventnor Fringe Festival, this four day film festival showcases some of the best shorts, documentaries and feature films from around the world.
The festival opens on Tuesday (11th) evening with an outdoor screening of a comedy feature, filmed on the Isle of Wight in 1999, Guest House Paradiso.
Competition screenings
Screenings continue on Thursday with two screenings from the Feature Film Competition, Si-o-se Pol and Masterpiece as well as another outdoor screening, Pride.
Friday sees the International Short Film Programme which is screened over a series of four sessions. There’s another film, Keeping Rosy, in the Feature Film Comp as well as another outdoor screening.
Saturday sees the Isle of Wight short films in competition as well as two more sessions of International films and the last feature film, SuperBob.

Tickets to all films are just £5 each and there’ll be the usual refreshments on offer before and after the films.
