Ventnor home-owner returned from holiday to find they’d been burgled. Ed
Detectives investigating a burglary which took place during the Christmas period have released pictures of items stolen from a family home in Ventnor.
The incident occurred sometime between Wednesday, December 12 and Thursday, December 20 2012, when an address in Leeson Road, Ventnor was broken into and a considerable number of belongings, including jewellery, two telescopes and camera equipment, were stolen.
Distinctive items
DC Katy Lee said: “As you can see from the photographs, many of the items are very distinctive and the majority of the jewellery is of African origin.
We also believe whoever is responsible for the thefts took a bright pink satchel bag and a Graco travel cot bag to carry the stolen property away in.”
