The Isle of Wight Council launched the survey, which closes at 4.30pm on 30 April, to gather views on how important certain factors are for young people when choosing where they would like to study their A-levels. It also asks what young people plan to do once their A-levels are finished.
The results will feed into the consultation about the future of secondary and post-16 education, which itself ends at the same time.

Councillor Jonathan Bacon is the Isle of Wight Council Leader and Executive member for children’s services. He said:
“This is an important survey that will help inform the outcomes of the secondary and post-16 consultation which will be reported to and discussed by councillors in the summer.
“I would encourage any young people aged 11 to 18 who have not taken part to do so by the deadline as your views are important.”
Currently, nearly 250 people have taken part in the survey but the council would like to see a lot more before the deadline.
