The Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, is asking the public to have their say on her plans to revamp how victims of crime can access support and information.
The proposal of a Victims Hub would mean a central focal point for quicker and tailored access for victims to the appropriate local support services, as well as accessing information about their reported crime.
Jones: Committed to helping them get the answers they need
PCC Donna Jones said,
“It is completely devastating and life-changing when a person becomes a victim of crime, and I am committed to helping them get the answers they need, and to access the right level of support to ensure they can move forward with their lives.
“Ensuring support for victims is one of the main priorities that I have outlined in my Crime and Police Plan so it’s vital that we get your feedback because your ideas and input will help us shape the services that victims are able to access across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.”

The Victims Hub Survey covers a range of topics including how safe you feel where you live, trust and confidence in the police, and whether you have been a victim of crime and how you have reported it.
The public can take part in the survey at Victims Hub Survey April 2023 and it runs until 21 May 2023.
