When we were at the Young Chamber awards last week, we caught up with Hayley Toms, a year-ten student at Carisbrooke High School.
She’d done particularly well for awards that night, having won two individual awards and one team award, specifically an award for Individual brilliance in the Liz Earl Challenge, Individual brilliance in the Hants Constabulary & IW Radio Challenge and the Team award for the overall debate.
It’s encouraging to know that there’s young talent like this on the Island.
